Partnership with City, University of London

July 24, 2024
We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with City, University of London!

The new partnership is aimed at forging stronger relationships between the wonderful educational ecosystem that City provides, and the fantastic companies here at FBC.

This collaboration brings a wealth of opportunities designed to support your business and educational aspirations  - scroll down to discover more!

1. A fully or almost fully-funded (£21,000) MSc in Cyber Security or Data Science

In response to the growing demand for expertise in these fields, City is offering exclusive apprenticeship programmes to FBC members.

Are you an employer interested in offering this opportunity to you or your team (or interested in signing up yourself)?

By investing through utilising apprenticeships levy funding, you can shape talent according to your company's needs and culture, reduce recruitment costs, and hire talented individuals to support vital projects. Students would achieve both an MSc and an apprenticeship qualification.

2. Bespoke summer internship projects

Do you have a specific project in mind which could benefit from a fresh pair of eyes? Whether you need help with research, data analysis, or technical development, City can help you find students to assist with your requirements.

Students can work during their summer holiday (2 – 12 weeks), or during a full year placement or via shorter term projects. These projects offer a fantastic opportunity for FBC members to engage with talented students and leverage their fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.

Contact Hannah.Bright-Wood@City.ac.uk if you want to discuss this further.
